Even though menstrual items themselves may not be compostable, a main pillar of our identity has always been sustainability. We are proud to offer a premium plant-based biofilm for our disposal bags that meets ASTM D6400 standards of industrial compostability.

Our plant-based biofilm is plastiside-free, and is made with discarded/waste potatoes not grown specifically for biofilm to ensure there is no impact on food supply. Potatoes have an average growth cycle of 105 days, which is much faster than the average growth cycle of trees.
Sustainable Packaging
We make sure our packaging is as sustainable as our product. All of our packaging is made with 100% post-consumer paper, printed with soy-based ink and water-based aqueous coatings. The facility that makes our packaging runs on 100% wind-generated renewable energy and is FSC certified.
